BluesMan BBQ sauce began over 50 years ago in the Mallams family where ingredients were carefully selected and then blended to make the perfect sauce. Billy Hall Mallams taught his son Mike how to make the sauce and inspired the beginning of BluesMan. It was Mike's passion for playing the harmonica that gave it it's name. Billy Hall died tragically in a Navy plane crash when Mike was only 17 and never lived to see his dream of bottling and selling the family sauce for others to enjoy. Today Mike and his family (Kerri, Kael and Loryn) are continuing the Mallams tradition by sharing a little of their family history in every bottle.

Giving Back

BluesMan BBQ's mission is to share the best BBQ sauce ever, while supporting their favorite charity — Citrine Health. Citrine Health, previously known as Positive Women's Network, grew out of Kerri Mallams' undergraduate internship in 1994. BluesMan BBQ is pleased to provide ongoing support for women and their families in the Puget Sound Area.
